    They sell modern boats and Interested about the boating industry and specializes in the sale of modern and advanced watercraft. They have in-depth knowledge of the latest boat models, features, and trends, and are committed to helping customers find the perfect boat that meets their needs and budget. They work with boat manufacturers, dealerships, or as independent salespeople, and may attend boat shows and other events to showcase their inventory. 

    The Challenge

    The company faced challenges in managing their accounting and inventory systems, tracking their modern boats and parts, and optimizing their costs. The existing systems were manual and time-consuming, resulting in errors and inefficiencies in their operations.

    Implementation

    Based on the challenge, the implementation was, for the most part, pretty straightforward, to automate Bowfin systems.

    • To address the needs of the boat sales company, we implemented Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory to improve their financial management and inventory management processes. We set up Zoho Books to manage their accounting system, including invoices, expenses, and chart of accounts. We also customized the software to automate recurring transactions and customized invoice templates to fit their unique business requirements. Additionally, we integrated Zoho Books with their bank account to enable seamless transaction recording.

    • In Zoho Inventory, we created an inventory management system to keep track of their boats, parts, and accessories. We set up inventory items, suppliers, and purchase orders and integrated the system with their e-commerce platform to manage online sales. We also created custom workflows and set up barcode scanning to streamline their warehouse operations. Furthermore, we designed a  approval cycle that helps to ensure proper tracking and recording of parts and to avoid errors or discrepancies.

    •  We also implemented Zoho Creator to develop two applications. The first application was for model boats and had four forms: Model, Main Features, Extra Features, and Distributor. The second application was for boat maintenance and had four forms: Customers, Entrance Permission, Assay Reform, and Final Assay.
